July Battle Pack Preview | Sentinels of Primus (Patreon)

I hope everyone is enjoying what the June Battle Pack has to offer! Now I want to share a preview of the upcoming July Battle Pack - the Sentinels of Primus!

Superhuman warriors empowered by science, sorcery, and the divine spirit of the God-King Primus, the Sentinels of Primus use advanced weaponry fueled by harnessed cosmic forces to defend humanity from the extradimensional horrors of the Doom Dimensions.

Yes, it's a War-People-Space-Fight miniatures set! A mostly hard sci-fi theme featuring powered armor and ranged weaponry, with a splash of mystical flair. Perfect for ripping and tearing in the dark grimness of a galaxy long ago and far away. I also personally hope to improve my hard-surface armor and technology sculpting skills with this one.

The Sentinels of Primus are comprised of many skilled warriors suited to all arenas of combat. The core of the God-King's legions are the Knight-Sentinels, skilled and stalwart masters of armed combat, whether they are dealing death in close quarters or providing long-ranged fire support.

Even the great skill of the Knight-Sentinels is eclipsed by the lethal Slayer-Praetors - front-line warriors equipped with deadly close-combat weaponry, they are trained the slay the mightiest of foes. Though the enemy may be terrible, by the God-King's command, they shall be worse.

The Sentinels of Primus wield an arsenal of advanced technological weapons powered by esoteric energies that their forge-brethren have leashed to the will of the God-King. Arc power is bound to blades and guns, forming lethal energies or fueling sawblade and plasma engines.

In previous Battle Packs, I set myself a goal of producing 4 figures bare minimum. I haven't had too much trouble reaching that goal, and then adding in some unplanned bonuses as well. For this Battle Pack I want to really push myself, and try to guarantee the addition of a bonus figure, so I sketched up some potential designs for what that figure could be.

The Arc Templar are gifted superhumans that harness Arc power through psionic focus as much as technology, unleashing it in devastating discharges from their Arcsouls. The monstrous Nerazhim are ancient allies of the God-King, and many of their number are clad in armor to go to war alongside their sentinel brethren. Even the mightiest fiend of the Doom Dimensions is hard pressed to match the ferocity of a Nerazhim War-Gygas in the throes of battle fury.

I'm not promising either of these figures in the upcoming July release, but I'd like to include one and, time permitting, ideally both. If not, I'll save them for a future Sentinels of Primus release, because yes, I do intend to revisit past battle pack themes in the future. I always have more ideas than I can possible cram into one release - there's plenty more designs on the drawing board for Blightergast, Sharkzerker, and Primal Heart figures.
