The Paracausalist is a man devoted to knowledge and science, wielding an experimental weapon system powered by an enigmatic energy known as the Vril. Part of an organization of scholars and artificers known as the Order of the Blue Flame, he and his comrades seek to unravel all the secret and forbidden mysteries of the world and bring the light of reason to its darkest corners.

The power source of the Vril Engine is an ancient relic covered during an archeological expedition conducted by the Order of the Blue Flame. A tool from some long lost civilization that also sought to master the Vril, its power is accessed by the Paracausalist through machinery of his own design.

The energy unleashed by his instruments is harmful to Ectomorph entities, as an open flame is harmful to a moth. This is fortunate, for as the use of Vril energy becomes more widespread, the number of Ectomorph manifestations is also on the rise...

As the search for truth and the battle against eldritch madness continues, the Paracausalist develops more weapons and technology to advance both.
