Hey all! 👋

Hope everyone's good. For me, the last two weeks of January are the storm before the calm: work churns like Amelia's potbelly after an ill-advised fourth helping of crème brûlée, but then things begin to settle in February and usually continue fair to middling through March - which is great, because it means more time and energy for the creative stuff!

On which subject, I hope you like the above teaser for the first pinupmeister pic in my upcoming illustrated Amelia story. Obviously just an initial sketch at this stage, but I'm really chuffed (pun intended) with how Amelia is looking and wanted to share it with you guys. For me it really captures her spirit. I'm hoping to commission another three pics to go with the story, which I'll probably release in parts - mainly in the hope of drumming up a little more income here to fund the other pics! I might do a pic of my own too. There's one scene in particular that I'm really keen to have a go at.

In other news, I'm pleased to say that the third pic in my collab series with Samster is all but finished (you can see the first two in my Corporate Worlds collection). Things start to get a bit hot and heavy for Debi in pic three - though I guess they were already pretty heavy.

Still loving the weekly writing prompts. The accountability is really inspiring me to write more. I've missed a couple of weeks, but will definitely get this week's done. The prompt this week is ARTIFACT and you'll never in a million years guess the popular video game character I'm fanficing (fatficing?) for that!😅

I'm also still working on SPECTACLE from week 2, which I'll post as a Patreon exclusive.

Last but not least, I'm still tinkering with the next chapter of TLWL as well. Really sorry for the delay on this. It's an important point in the story that I really want to do justice to, and I haven't quite got it sussed yet. But I will get it posted in the next couple of weeks even if it isn't perfect. 🙂

All the best,

Hal x
