IMPORTANT: Change to billing method (Patreon)

Hi all!

Just a quick one to say that after a very brief consultation I've decided to go for it, and change to monthly billing! Whoop whoop!

The change will take place from tomorrow. In practice, it shouldn't make any difference to you as existing patrons. You'll still be charged once a month for whatever you pledge. And if there's a month in which I'm unable to post anything substantial, I'll pause the billing for that month, meaning that you won't be billed. (However, I'm really hoping that I'll be posting at least two or three of times per month, including one significant story update or new piece of writing.)

The reason I used pay per creation up until now was simply because I expected there to be months where I wouldn't post anything, and I didn't want to charge patrons when this happened. At the time, pay per creation seemed the easiest way to do this.

As mentioned, the reason for changing to monthly billing is so that I can use Patreon's charge up front option to stop people from joining my page, seeing all the posts they want to see and then leaving without paying anything. I genuinely don't hate anyone for doing this. I'm thrilled that people want to see my content. But it does feel unfair to me and to paying patrons, whose support - to repeat myself - gives me such an amazing warm buzz of self-worth and really motivates me to keep writing and illustrating, and (hopefully) improving at both. Honestly, you guys are the best! 😘 x

In other news, the picture of Amelia in her red dress is finished and will be posted tomorrow, along with her gluttony profile. 

Meanwhile, Gemma, Holly and Abby are all getting the costumes ready for Halloween! (Although Abby in particular is having a great deal of trouble getting into hers.) All will be revealed, literally, in a brief Halloween story featuring their respective trick-or-treating, candy-eating exploits on Halloween night, which I can't wait to share.
