Wednesday weigh-in: Sowing some Discord & A millionaire's middle (Patreon)

Hope everyone is well.

It shows how deeply I've been living in my own fictional universe that when someone mentioned "the drizzle" to me the other day, my first thought was of Kari and Yaz licking their lips and gazing at butterscotch sauce dripping in thick layers over the edges of their strawberry pavlova, and my second was of Tyler squeezing chocolate syrup into Hayley's mouth to cap off a midnight snack.

Funny... and perhaps quite uplifting? For most people the "the drizzle" prompts a mundane moan about the weather 🌧️.

The heightened reality we FAs live in, eh!

And so in that positive, joyful spirit, I'm not getting too depressed about this recent policy update from Patreon about prohibited content. I'll do a fuller, separate post about this either this evening or at the weekend (assuming my account is still live by then), but for now my plan is to carry on here. If Patreon decides my account violates such principles, I'll probably move subscriptions to DeviantArt.

In anticipation of this, I've set up a Discord account. You can add me by clicking "Add friend" and then searching for my username, which is halrion1 

Even if we end up staying on Patreon, please do add me on Discord anyway. It's a great place to discuss stuff and if people are interested, I may well set up a server there for us all to chat on at some point.

For now, though, back to happier matters!

This week's weigh-in features half of a commission / request pic for KewlKidz. It's an updated rendering of his OC, multi-millionaire hedonist Samantha Gomez. A cleaner turned trophy wife, Samantha screwed her ex-husband out of hundreds of millions of dollars and embarked on a life of unbridled luxury, glamour and decadent dining - with predictable and not entirely welcome consequences for her figure.

I really love Kewl's character background for Samantha, and have a couple of short story ideas in mind for her.

~ EDIT: Sorry, I jumped the gun when I said that the full pic would be posted today. KewlKidz is still writing the scene to go with it. Instead, I'll post a different commission pic from Kewl on Sunday, along with a short story they've written for it. ~
