Hi All,

Hope everyone's doing alright! Why does this time of year feel like just one major ramp-up before the new year? Like we're starting to just hurtle towards the next year? It's crazy how busy and how much stuff is crammed into the next few weeks...

I only have just a few mod updates for you since so much of September was focused on it. Thanks for your feedback on the patreon test versions; I really do appreciate it.

Mod Updates Info and WIP

I also have a new mod for you. It is not the mod you might've expecting but it's something I had fun with so I hope you enjoy! My aforementioned WIPs are still being worked on and will be coming before the end of the year. It's just, if you know anything about me, I start with a simple idea and then it balloons into well let me see if this is possible and before I know it I'm making a giant mod I didn't intend to originally make. But alas!

Both November and December mods (and January's surprise collab, more about that later) are patron-voted mods so your requested mods are coming and I am actively working on them! I work really hard to contribute to the community consistently and I love challenging myself with your requests. I really appreciate you guys' enthusiasm not only for the mods you're interested in but also for the process and the creative journey that allows me to throw in things that I want to make just for myself as well and share them with you! Thank you!

Public Versions

BG Health System v2.2

Added custom milestones. Added infant illness and pediatric visits. Minor Sims now have the option to have someone accompany them to doctor visits. Added automatically assigned natural immunity (strong, normal, or weak) which will help to determine the rate at which sims are likely to catch illnesses. You can change immunity in the Actions menu. Fixed reward trait.

Divergent Sims v2.5

Fixed an issue with Support Groups trying to add trait for a feature not available in this version of the mod which would then cause an error.

Family and Friends Activities v4.2

This mod has replaced Youth and Family Activities and has been renamed as its scope has broadened. I added additional options for your sim to go to the cemetery to mourn, shopping to get random merchandise and add another option for Addicts, the free clinic to cure GTW illnesses, and the Racetrack to bet or watch (depending on age and disposition) and add another option for Addicts.

GTW Health Overhaul v4.2

SimNation Travel v6.4.5 

Moved all phone options from custom pie menu to Travel menu to consolidate all options/ease of use. Added custom milestones. Added new truck from Horse Ranch pack. Added travel agent option as an alternative to booking reservations separately.

Added option to purchase cars at rabbithole dealership. Changed mechanism for how cars are categorized to allow easier addition of newer pack cars and integration with custom cars. Business hours are now longer. Fake IDs will be confiscated after DUIs.

Simulated Endings v1.5

Made a tweak for Sims spared by the Grim Reaper. This mod will get a rework/rebranding when the Golden Years mod comes out, just FYI.

Patreon Early Access Versions

Divergent Sims v3.4  - Made tweaks to Addiction and Social autonomy. Please note that addiction is ongoing, unless your sim has a full and complete recovery (the mod will notify you of a full recovery versus starting a journey of recover). Otherwise, their recovery journey is an ongoing process the Sim goes through so as your Sim lives with addiction they may get buffs and notifications informing you of where they are in their journey. They can get addictions through autonomous interactions; there is no way within the confines of the mod for them to develop an addiction without performing an interaction that falls under that addiction.

Healthcare Redux  v7.4  - Deaf Sims may have trouble speaking to other Sims who don't know Sign Language if they can't Lip Read, don't know Sign Language, or don't have Hearing Aids or Implants themselves. I have increased the likelihood of Sims with Weak Immune Systems getting illnesses, conditions, allergies, gynecological problems, and medical emergencies. Other small tweaks.

Errant Thoughts (Sapphire/Violet Release Now. Midnight/Azure Release Next Week) 

This mod adds opportunities for your sim's to rethink some of their life choices and make changes on a whim. Maybe they suddenly don't like living in the big city and think a change of pace in the country would be good. Perchance university isn't all it's cracked up to be and they have the sudden urge to drop out. Or could be they're tired of waking up to the same Sim every day and want to get a divorce. Perhaps they want an adorable furry companion or are longing for a baby. These will not take up a want slot; they're simply chances for your Sim's to think about changing things up from time to time, some randomly and some based on what's going on in their lives. There are three categories of thoughts: life/lifestyle, career/school, and relationships.

You can choose to ignore your Sim's errant second thoughts - the Sim may forget all about this thought and have no emotions about it - or they may be upset that they didn't act on it if after a week has gone by and nothing has changed, or they may be happy they did act on it if within a week it's been fulfilled, they may even be relieved they didn't act on impulse, but there's also a chance they might regret if they did it within a week but realise maybe they didn't really want what they thought they wanted...
