Summer Camps (Patreon)

Yes, I'm aware how ironic it is to release Summer Camps at the end of Summer but I'm just helping you to prolong the fantasy! Here are 11 new summer camp opportunities for your child and teen sims to explore. Signups are available on the phone and computer during the Summer only. Camps last for 5 days  (Sunday signups are highly recommended). Day Camp costs $350. Away Camp costs $500. 

Features/How It Works

Use the phone or computer under the School menu to access the ability to sign up for Summer Camps. The option is available daily between 8AM and 8PM during the Summer season. Day Camp is Monday-Friday from 8AM to 8PM. Away Camp starts at 8am the next day and lasts for 5 days.

Summer Camp will replace school for any children and teens for its duration. Camp lasts 5 days and starts the next day for Away Camp and the next weekday for Day Camp. 

Your sim will come back with new and consistently improving skills that correspond to their camp as well as a chance for a buff about their experience that day. 

If at any point you wish to Quit Camp, you must use the Quit Camp option on the phone or computer under the School menu. If at Away Camp, you must cancel the interaction. Your Sim will revert back to either Grade or High School at their last grade level. Your sim will automatically quit camp when the season changes from Summer or they age up past Teen.

Packs Used and Highly Recommended for Skills but if you don't have the packs you just won't earn the skills from them: Parenthood (Life Skills/Character Values), Jungle Adventures (Culture for Language), University (Research and Debate for Leadership and STEM), City Living (Guitar and Piano for Band), Knitting (Arts), Eco Lifestyle (Fabrication for Arts), Get Famous (Singing and Acting for Theater Camp), Spa Day (Wellness for Sports), Snowy Escape (Skiing, Snowboarding, and Rock Climbing for Sports).

This mod is fully compatible with the Private School Mod.

Updates

 10/28 to integrate with public version of Education Overhaul 2.2. Away camps were also removed as rabbitholes broke with EA patch. Once they are fixed, away camp functionality will be reintroduced. 

11/3 to integrate with Education Overhaul v2.3. Rewrote scripts. No longer needs Triplis' mod.
