***The Athletic Career Overhaul is open to Midnight tier now. Please make sure you are using the updated versions of Divergent Sims and Healthcare Redux. If you are having any kind of issue, redownload the mod and clear your cache! Yes, again, even if you think you just did it.***

Hey There,

In a few weeks, I will be releasing the Healthy Sim Lifestyle mod I made in a collaboration with PandaSama who made the objects to be used with the mod.

In May, I will be doing some mod updates/new features for existing mods. Please also remember to let me know of any features you'd like added to existing mods. I can't guarantee them, but I'll try to do as many as I can and make sense for each mod. I know I will be releasing a major feature update to HCR and a complete revamp of the Writing Overhaul mod and I'll add others if it makes sense/I have time.

New Mods

Healthy Living

Sapphire/Azure: Available Now

Midnigt/Azure/All PandaSama Patrons: April 19

(Requires the General Pie menu)

This is a mod is a collaboration between myself and PandaSama that is made to encourage and introduce new ways to live healthier lifestyle for your Sims.

Sims must watch what they eat and chose the best exercises for their goals, they can now sign up for health club memberships, engage in new fitness and wellness activities, sign up for healthy meal delivery service, and utilize new objects to keep track of their weight, metabolism, and muscle mass as well as track progress for new fitness and weight loss programs administered by the Gym Trainer or the new Nutritionist NPC.

Athletic Career Overhaul

Sapphire/Violet Tier: Available Now

Midnight/Azure Tier: April 2nd

(Requires Shared Library)

Inspired by March Madness this is an overhaul of the Athletic Career. It changes how Sims within the career are promoted and the activities necessary for promotion.

Upon entering the bodybuilder branch your sim has to compete and win a pro show in order to advance. Upon entering the pro-athlete branch, your sims must hire an agent, compete in a combine to be eligible to be drafted, and have their agent negotiate a franchise contract.

Bodybuilders and Pro Athletes will now have to compete in and win (though sometimes they lose) bodybuilding competitions and and sports games, respectively, in order to advance. Games and Competitions take place during regular work hours twice a week but can also be fulfilled via new interactions. Sims also need to participate in sponsorship deals and brand promotion and gain fame at higher levels. Additional requirements include media interviews and training seminars.

In the future, possibly in May when I do some other mod feature updates, I want to recreate elements of the Sims 3 sports agent as a new branch of this career.

If you do not have Get Famous or Get Together (for fame and dance, respectively), you should not need to complete those requirements.

Hiya! Thank you for all the hard work you do on your mods, they elevate game play exponentially! I was wondering if you'd consider adding a feature to Dynamic Teen Life that would allow us to enable/disable social group outfits at school. I like the feature, but I also like the teens to be able to wear normal outfits. Just something that I notice when playing a family with teens in school.

Has anyone else had a issue with Health Redux messing up your UI Interface?

adeepindigo

You wouldn't unless you don't have the required and updated mods. The only way HCR can affect your UI is through improperly installed, uninstalled, or outdated versions of the Mood Pack. Check that you have installed the mood pack, that you don't have any outdated duplicates, and that your version is up to date.

Hello again. Another thought I have would be more injuries and more triggers for them (though it's hard to know everything that triggers an injury since it's random if one will occur). Falling off a broom or falling while 3 feet up in the air during meditating should have the chance for the back/arm injury respectively. A failure during cheer would be a very realistic place to see an injury. Getting in a fight should come with a chance of any of the available injuries. I'd also love to see more injuries, though I know necessary CC is a barrier. The football failure animation is just screaming for the possibility of a broken nose, fights IRL commonly cause black eyes/bruised knuckles. Even broken feet/ankles could be a possibility during various activities with a good walking cast cc as those injuries don't always require a period of time on crutches. I'm just starting to play with divergent. I mentioned on discord I would love to see a sims job and daily work tasks taken into account when determining addiction. At least in my case it didn't seem to be for my e-sports pro and videogames (the playing of which is his daily job advancement requirement). Enjoy your time off ❣️

I've been playing for a few days with different families and all updated mods, and every time I instruct my sims to take vitamins, pain meds, or antibiotics they freeze and reset so treating bacterial infections no longer works with medicine. The other medicines like cold and allergy still work.
