If Mary Jane is completely drained of blood, then Dracula's mystical enzymes in his saliva won't have anything to convert. The enzymes convert the blood in the veins into ichor as to initiate the change. This usually happens during a death-like state within the span of 3 days unless vampire introduces vampiric blood (or ichor) into the (in this case, MJ's) system (usually orally in Dracula's case) in order to accelerate the change within a few hours. In short, if MJ is completely drained then she won't ever rise. She will be fully dead.

I don't think we should get hung up on such details. After all, vampires aren't real and there are as many different sets of 'rules' for them as there are books, TV shows, films and comics that feature them. :)
