...maybe she's waiting for someone?

This what's called "subverting expectations". Since the "Beeftober" prompts for Inktober concern, bodybuilding, weight training and muscle, you see the prompt "Bar" and you think "yeah, barbell bar" and "here's another pic of someone working out". Well, I was a little burned out from drawing as many "working out" drawings of Satin Steele as I've done in the past three weeks, so I went in a different direction, with an alternate definition of "bar".

Plus, it gives me an opportunity to try out a prospective look for Starburst. I'm still trying to nail down a distinctive look for our cosmic superheroine, and I thought maybe giving her a somewhat softer "off-season" or "weightlifter" look might help further distinguish her from Tetsuko and Dyna the Damsel Dynamo with their more sharply defined and vascular "bodybuilder" physiques. (Of course, Starburst will show veins and definition when she's exerting herself, as she was in yesterday's "Break" pic.
