I thought it would take longer to produce, but I did manage to finish and post it just before the end of the month.

But there were sacrifices to be made...

As I mentioned before, I planned a "text" version of the Q&A because my voice was not up to snuff due to an allergy attack. (And although I feel better, and think I sound better than I have been, I still don't think I could get through a recording with my voice the way its is now.)

The other "sacrifice" involves a question sent in by MaxMuscle, a question that's been asked quite a few times by readers over the years, and a question that needs a proper answer, a better answer than I could have given it this time around. So - with my apologies to Max - I'm holding that question over for the May video. The answer will be worth the wait!

Speaking of which: this is also the first Call for Questions for the May video, which you can leave in the comments below.

And in case you're curious, the music for this video was taken from the album Uh-Oh!, by Tipsy.

it was interesting seeing your perspective on the subject of the japanese anime styles. I think your own style has definitely made your work unique moreso than others with your blend of influences. It can be tough sometimes when you like a certain thing and you just want to replicate their works. But sometimes, those results just don't work very well in an artist's perspective so it's nice to see you also had this experience too.

Good video, I hope you get better on your voice. Here are some questions for next month: 1. I see Sonya is getting beefier in your comics, she is exercising, or is some design change for her character? 2. What's your favorite clothes for Tetsuko (excluding birthday clothes ;) )? 3. You hadn't thought of a brunette girl to draw as a new character?
