Voice issues (Patreon)

A situation has arisen that will affect the production of the April Q and A video.

It started yesterday with just a tickle in my throat, a little post-nasal drip... but by last night, and this morning, I started sounding like a frog.

I think it's just the allergies I'm usually subjected to this time of year kicking in again (and just a couple of days ago I was thinking I might have avoided them this year... guess I jinxed myself). I feel fine; no fever, no lethargy (well, no more than usual LOL), I just sound horrible. And it is uncomfortable to speak for longer than a few seconds, so trying to talk for the time it would take to make the video ... well...

So, since I have no idea when this thing will clear up, and whether it'll be in time to shoot the video on the 30th, (and since I can't now shoot any in advance), I'm going to fall back on a tactic I used when this condition hit me in December of 2017, and do an "all text" version of the Q and A.

Doing it this way might even make it possible to post it sooner than the end of the month... if I can resolve the problem I'm having with YouTube.
