NUTCRACKER Sketches (Patreon)

It's Holiday Season my dears! 🎄✨
Originally, I had planned an entire series of artworks telling my version of the Nutcraker fable.
But due to the problems I had with my last art (the one with Lion-o/He-man) and the fact that that one took part of my December agenda, this compromised my plans and I had to leave this shelved for another opportunity. (My idea was to even use the arts to make a book!)
Still, I have a great love for the ballet show (whose soundtrack is entirely by the amazing Tchaikovsky) by Nutcracker, so I still wanted to create the art for Holidays this year, inspired by this theme.
I thought of a scene where Nutcracker would be with Prince Clarence (yes, in my version, it's not a girl called Clara, but a guy called Clarence).
The SFW version would be quite romantic, with both of them in front of a Christmas tree.
And the NSFW version would have Clarence eagerly grabbing his soldier Nutcracker's big nuts.
I had thought about doing this art in one of my artstyle that doesn't have outlines/lineart.
And in fact I was already working on this type of development...
But I started to believe that maybe 'people wouldn't like it very much', and that maybe they would prefer that I use my style of my lineart, more refined.
So I started my illustration again...
Yeah... working with art is a 'crazy thing'.
It's not always certain.
And sometimes there are several difficulties.
We have to be inspired. Have vision.
It is a work of imagination and an attempt to create an image that reflects what we idealize...
And sometimes, things get "hazy" and you end up questioning yourself far too much...
Still, I do my work it with Love.
And I don't like to rush things and do it in a clumsy "go!Go!GO! way"... I like to do it with care and attention.
Now, I'll share the sketches and linearts.
AND I ALSO put two bonuses here:
- the first attempt at vector colorization without lineart;
- And the sketches I had created for some of the scenes that will be in my story (yes, it may not have come out in time for this Christmas, but I will still do it in the future!).
I really hope you enjoy these my Dear Ones! ✨🎄
