CH7 TT Page 3 - Step By Step + Veruka Designs (Patreon)

Here's the progress of page 3!

And yep, this was the chapter I had planned to feature Veruka in. Once I got the idea of making her a Bottle World inspector, I felt like this chapter would be a good timing to introduce her inspecting the first world our characters went into. This also meant I had to start designing her asap. The first sketches were made in October 2020.

The biggest challenge with her was her hair. Because her old hairstyle as an infernape was very similar to Whinter's! She was also gonna have a white hair too! So I clearly had to go a bit different route. 

I soon landed on a long braided hair, which I really liked. Then I just had to settle with the rest. Considering she was gonna be working for Ambrosia, I thought she'd have to have her hair clean and brushed. So I made it so. But I left one strand that she couldn't keep in check and constantly tries to fix. I also drew her with Clem. You'll see why on next page.

And currently she only has Ambrosia work clothes designed. She'll need some casual clothes someday.
