I've decided to write something about the Roamish culture in the story of Blood Witch (my fantasy setting that I've mentioned). Geist, who's real name is Māda (the character from this drawing), his father is from Roam, or Ādirōka, a nation of moon worshippers, who have a rocky relationship with the nation that Blood Witch majorly takes place in. They have their own language and culture. The first of these four drawings details some things that sets them apart from the local culture.

Ādi typically have dark-blue eyes, blue eyes of any kind being a rare sight anywhere outside of Ādirōka.

The second drawing is Māda, or Geist, one of Bāham's sons. I'm not too proud of this drawing, whenever I try to draw something more high-def and less cartoonish, it always ends up looking worse I think, but I'll just have to practice it more. Eventually it'll start looking right...

The third and fourth are more alternate hairstyle ideas for Yuura, the character from this, uh... definitely non-cannon comic. This is a difficult one because this character's story is a bit unique.

If you don't mind spoilers for this story that probably won't be written for an eternity:
Yuura is the name and body that Cerulean inherits when he is killed by Māda and resurrected by blood mages. Cerulean arranged this resurrection in the event of his death, however one can only be resurrected into the body of their descendant. Cerulean had assumed that a physically strong male descendant would be used, however, due to some extremely bad luck, the only descendant available at the time of his death was Yuura, a 22 year old woman, who up until that point had spent her entire life collecting firewood and performing manual labor for her village.
After Cerulean is killed, and the body that he spent centuries sculpting and building for himself is destroyed and replaced by Yuura's, his mind is totally broken down, and he spends a good amount of time rebuilding it, eventually becoming stronger and more capable than he ever was before. Until then, though, Yuura's appearance should reflect that total loss of the self, and the feeling of having been utterly and totally defeated by Māda.
I found the hairstyle tied-up at the back to be too prim-and-proper, and the short hairstyle to be too boyish. I'm not sure I like this one either, though. It does make sense given that Yuura was a farmhand or whatever in a small village, but I just don't really like how it looks on Yuura as Cerulean.
Anyway, it's an idea.

The hairstyle in the bottom panel of this drawing looks okay, maybe I just go with that?
