The Onion has submitted a hilarious Amicus Brief - schooling the Supreme Court on the importance of Parody in free speech protections. Anthony Novak was arrested after posting a parodic Parma Police Department page on Facebook, mocking the police with posts which included the famous "We No Crime" slogan. Novak is seeking to overturn the Sixth Circuit's grant of Qualified Immunity to the officials who arrested him.

the last thing THIS Supreme Court wants is to permit people effectively to crtitue the awful pronouncements of Authorities such as itself. Did you READ the scolding Thomas published, telling the American people to sit down, shut up, and do as he tells them? Or Roberts' recent whinging about how saying bad things about any of their rulings or reasoning is what causes the Court to lose credibility?
