VAs and Pricing

This time I'm back first and foremost to let you know that I have consulted with various VAs how much it'd cost to voice one of my videos.

Most VAs appear to charge on a per-word basis, while some do consider an hourly rate (which I wouldn't be able to afford at all, haha), luckily most do a per-word rate after a certain amount of words. After considering everyone's who's voice would fit one of the videos that's out currently, I've come to an average of 200 USD. Thanks  to the number of patrons I have currently, this should be affordable for me next month. So, if all goes well, you can expect a voiced video to come out sometime in May! 

I don't just want to hire a VA and overlay their voice on top of the existing video. I want to remaster the videos and retime so everything fits properly and the VAs lines have the proper time to breathe. 

Improving my workflow for the future.

I honestly was not expecting to receive so much support so suddenly last month, so I didn't think voiced videos would become a real possibility so soon. Which is why while working on the last two videos I just didn't work on the script on a word processor, I just worked on it within the editing software itself. A VA would need that script in written form, so once both videos for this month are out. I'll start working on remastering Chloe's script. 

I also want to use better quality art, replace the parts that weren't that well received and mix together both parts (the public and exclusive side) so that patrons can watch the best quality version of it, without any pauses. From hereafter, I'll improve my workflow while considering voiced videos. So that you can get them as fast as possible. 

For now, however, Marine's and Chloe's videos will need to be almost 100% remade. (Probably more like 70%, but you get the picture.) Doing so shouldn't take that long, but I also want to make sure both of April's videos are out by the end of the month. I'm going to be working on these three projects concurrently. (While also having to work, study, etc.) And, at least until they're out, this month's videos are going to be the primary focus. Again, May is most likely going to be the month we have our first voiced video. I'd like to have it sooner, but I don't want to sacrifice the quality of any of my videos or end up burning myself out. Please understand!

I'm happy to announce that, as decided by patrons and members of the Discord server, Mona from Genshin Impact is the protagonist of April's video!

Work has just begun on both of these videos, currently it is the scripts that I'm working on. I'm experimenting with writing the scripts at the same time.

Like always, you can expect both of these videos to come out by the end of the month.
