Whoops, another delayed Friday post, don’t fret I have a good reason! I was really really busy… find out why below.

Sapphire Safari
One step closer to our full release, we spent the week optimizing our first Alpha and redoing a lot of the screenshots we originally had created. The page on Itch will go live once the alpha is released but for now, you can check out all the great screenshots over on Steam as we finally updated the keyart there along with the week’s work being shown. A lot of the optimizations are coming in the form of better understanding the Voxel tools we are using to build the game, a good portion of the game relies on foliage (trees, bushes, grass, leaves, rocks, stones, etc) to litter the land with objects the player can use to sneak up on unsuspecting monster girls to get the candid shots they need. The voxel terrain helps populate all of that based on textures and procedural generation, just that our first few builds were running quite poorly, so we focused on fixing all of that.

Elewder
Expect the new build sometime this week, a lot of the work was making sure that some of the new crashes that were plaguing the release were ironed out before we drop the public build. So we took the time to fix a few of the more little issues I personally had with the build, things like how the clothing moves on the new player model and some of the lighting effects we have for the new projectiles and such. So yeah, new build very soon!

Under Contract
Pushing hard on the content front now, a lot of the work around the game has been focused on hitting art targets, making sure the player character and others are suitably animated within the gameplay areas, building out a really robust lockit, and sourcing new artists to work with us regarding music and building our own OST for the game. So yeah, lots happened here. We hope to share the game with everyone once the first area is basically done.

Ready for another week!

Stay moist homies!
