MouseCakes #87 - One egg, a pinch of Ginger... Pt. 7 (Patreon)

Finally making progress!

I hit a bit of a wall with this last set of pages, not so much in terms of technical execution or art block, but in how I wanted to explain the basis for one of my characters and his species that I've had in mind for a very long time now. It's all very silly and should not be taken seriously in any capacity (and Aurora is an unreliable narrator at the best of times, as you'll see later)...But it's moreso that this whole setting, the whole idea for MouseCakes has been something fun I've played around with with a friend of mine for years. Putting those goofy, vorny, off-the-wall ideas we shared late at night with each other into something that everyone could consume has been...Intimidating, to say the least.

Kinda felt a bit like with my Noel comic! Taking something you've had in mind and giving it form, and realizing that that makes it somewhat permanent, somewhat real...I dunno! I'm not sure how to explain it, haha. But I at least finally pushed through, so the next few pages are going to come rapid fire from here on out. X3 Gotta catch up!

And who knows, maybe I'll pull a DC Comics and reset the whole canon at some point with a wild crossover comic! Maybe everyone gets eaten and Spacey has to start over, lol.
