[WIP] Lakeside Hare (Quinten) (Patreon)

A WIP of an overdue picture for my friend Russet! His hare Quinten reclining lakeside while regarding the viewer; he's in charge of the forest (no, not that Forest), so he's probably wondering what they're doing here...

I have a few things I want to fix up in this before I finish the shading I have in mind! Some arm placements, the tail, the light filtering past his ears, and darn it, water is the bane of my existence. XD I will figure it out this time, just watch!! I think a big part is not being so hesitant with the lighting on it. Water is reflective, and I need to not use airbrushes to make big glowy sections, but need it to reflect more cleanly and precisely...I can't put it into words, I'm not a writer! I'll just have to do it to show what I mean. XD Learning more every day!

I also made sure the fur was easily changeable depending on what Russet wanted, I can actually override any of the colors for Quinten here to be whatever shade I need it to be, and the bellyfur and headband actually accommodate that change too! It's something I really need to do in future pictures as well, cause going in and changing the color of one layer and having everything update (relatively) correctly is real helpful!

Expect this to be done pretty soon here, lol.
