[Animation] Mavenby - Level Complete! (Patreon)

A short level complete animation based on the game Hanaby the Witch, starring Maven as the title character! Done for Maven's B-Day today (Happy Birthday!)!

This was an exercise in both rigging a 2D character (each limb/body part was a separate piece I had to animate) and learning more of CSP's tweening features. It's actually quite robust once you get past a few of the more annoying hang ups. It made this a heck of a lot more doable than it would be otherwise, but gosh, all of that rigging and fixing and tweaking to get it matching up to the original animation was something else... XD I eyeballed all of it, but it's pretty close I think...It even lined up with the music perfectly! I was stoked to find that out at the very end, lol. Maaaaybe should've tested that earlier in the process... XD

I resisted the urge to make tiny Mavenby dab until the very end! I'm proud of myself for that. X3
