Noel's Christmas: A Gift (#6-10) (Patreon)

Whew! I finally managed it... XD Here's the next 5 pages of my Noel comic, introducing a few new faces, a glimpse around the town he lives in (though he and Celyn live on the outskirts), and introducing his best friend, Mel the elf!

Also, at some point I decided Noel ice skates everywhere he goes. XD It's real cute, shush.

Gosh there's a lot to cover here... XD Feel free to ask any questions, point out anything wrong/mispelled, etc. I put a lot of work into these pages, but I know they're not perfect; if I kept fighting myself to fix every little thing wrong, I'd still not be done!

Mel is a new one I wanted to show for a while, he's inspired by quite a few things: The Rider from Furi, the elf dentist from the claymation Rudolph, and even the elf from Holiday by Lil Nas X (yes, I know, it's goofy, lol). He's darker skinned than an elf traditionally is, but you know what? I like that, lol. Makes him more unique! That and part of my head canon for elfs is that they originate from various places on the globe, so of course they'd be ethnically diverse.

I swear I have a now multi-paged document on the elfs alone, lol. I hint at some of the goofy lore on page 9, haha.

Gosh, I'm excited to do more now that I'm halfway done, but I might slow down a little, finish up a ref for Noel and Celyn (already almost got Mel's done from the practice sketches I did for him), and knock out the rest of the pages later. I started this on December 19-ish, so I'm actually making good time! I could actually manage 20 pages in less than a month at this rate, which is fantastic. ❤
