Bookstore Skunk (Tris) (Patreon)

Story time on this one!  Written based on a few ideas that came to mind when I drew this.

"This one?"  The skunk said, reaching overhead to grab the dusty volume. He'd had to pull the ladder over to reach this one, all the way up on the top shelf.  There was a soft rumble of approval from somewhere underneath him.

"Uh huh." The voice from below was a bit muffled, making the skunk glancing back down.  The wuff had his paw over his mouth, looking up, his tail wagging behind him.  His cheeks glowed warmly, paw not enough to cover them.  Tris felt his own cheeks warming.

"Okay, that'll be everything then?"  Forest's brow furrowed, glancing around as if unsure.

"O-oh, no, I need a few more...There's one to your left there too..."

Tris sighed good-naturedly, blushing.  It was much too obvious; this was the third time this week that silly wuff had come in and bought a stack of books. Still, he was a good customer...He turned slightly, placing the chosen volume with the others in the pile in his arms, his long bushy tail flicking, acting as a counterweight as he leaned the other way.

Unseen by him, the wuff leaned along with him, adjusting his glasses for a better view, emerald eyes shining.

Maybe I should do these more often?  It's kind of fun, lol.

Done for Tris a while back, but cleaned up recently to be more presentable!
