working on this idea a little more! originally, I was hesitant to give them wings because I was worried it'd be a little too on the nose but the demonic characters are clearly demons so why cant the angelic ones look more angelic? And I love to draw wings so;;;;;;;

This is all inspired through Enokan. I know it looks way different from what was shown in the comic but there was so much I DIDN'T show (like 15 chapters worth that I had planned) that it all makes sense to me but I'm anxious that readers will look at it and be like WTF IS THIS haha;;; It's different for sure, but to me it's just evolving.

Can I rant for moment? I'm gonna rant for a moment.

I had to stop Enokan because the story was a mess. I could tell a lot of readers were confused or getting wrong impressions of what the story was supposed to be. Not like any of that was their fault because it was all on me. Even I felt like pulling out my hair at times just trying to figure out ways to tell the story that will make sense. This was because when I started the comic, it didn't have an ending or a clear storyline. I just jumped right in without thinking and wrote it as I went along. Eventually it developed a plot but it became a chore to tie everything together. Everything that I wrote without planning had to make sense with a storyline that wasn't fully developed. It just left cracks! Cracks everywhere!

So I'm dismantling everything. Dissecting all the parts that make me love the story and that make me want to keep going and remolding them into something I can feel confident about. The story originally focused a lot on alchemy, transforming matter or the very nature of a beast, so I guess that's what I'm doing with the story as a whole >:U

Enokan was originally titled "Hellion" and just looking at these concept drawings I feel like I want to gnaw at these roots a little more

These look amazing! I loved Enokan and it's actually the comic that made me follow the rest of your work, so I'm excited to see what you end up reworking it into!
