Hellion - test pg 27 (NSFW) (Patreon)

So! While working on ch1 for the past year I've had a lot of time to reflect on how I want things to *actually* look, lines + color wise in this case.

Experimented with pg 27 a little bit and I actually really like how this turned out! It's a good balance between flats/gradients, it's much more moody and the colors suit the environment I have pictured in my head so much better. The hard blacks in the line art are fun to work with and overall the process is WAY more simple and easy to do which is *very important!!*

I'm not going to go back and edit all 51 pages of chapter 1 to look like this. Just going to leave them be for the most part but future chapters will very likely look like this and I aim to keep everything looking much more consistent from now on.

I will be making *other* edits to some ch1 pages tho. Most of it is for continuity stuff regarding the story. If anyone noticed on this page, there are different looking arrows in his back that Charlie didn't shoot and also the non-english words are slightly different from the original page. So most edits are gonna be stuff like that~

And!! I almost forgot to mention, I'm changing some character names so milk and I have been mulling over these...
Charlie - Reider
Chance - Ragnok
Cass - Kass/Kassius
Ben - Euklid

So yeah! I'll keep you guys updated with all this as I work on it~ <:
