Looks like it will run in a version or two. The performance is actually not that bad and everything seems to run. It looks glitchy as hell while in a battle but besides that it is actually not that bad.

Looks great so far! Testing on my workstation and Sm4sh is much improved from 1.7.0d. Before I was getting very choppy audio and about 5FPS with load-outs on Final Destination (with a proper shader cache) and an average of ~50FPS throughout the match. Now audio is about 95% (sometimes a tiny bit choppy) with ~20FPS on load-outs with a consistent 60FPS throughout the match. Nice work on the optimization! For the record, build is a Xeon E5-2696 v3 (at 2.3GHz) with 64GB of RAM and a Titan X, and the tests were performed with a 4K graphics pack.

I'm on 1.7.1, I'm playing the Wind Waker and I still have the same frame rates as 1.7.0d then I deleted the cache I made myself from 1.7.0d now the frame rate are as they should be. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm not sure if others pointed it out already, but myself and others are still experiencing the same framedrops in WWHD and no increased performance in NES Remix, Xeno, and Star Fox Zero.

Sounds to me like you already have a decent CPU and therefore you don't really benefit from any CPU-focused optimizations.

Don't whine. I don't believe the devs stated it was 100% crash free now. You can play it on the Wii-U from where you dumped it. It'll be emulated when it gets emulated.

Well, something strange is happening over here, first time i launched the new 1.7.1 version, XCX was running at 30fps 90% of the time, now i tried to play again and i am only getting between 15 and 22 fps. I have a i7 3770k@4.4ghz CPU and a GTX 1070 OC.

I actually never gained any performance in Xeno on 1.7.1, performance is that same 15-22 fps for me too. AMD GPU though.

&amp; Quick question to anyone that might know, So I'm playing WWHD with no cache @ 4K, On first boot up I'll be at a locked 30, but after a reboot or two It goes to crap (like 6-7 FPS on the title screen, anyone else?) (Played on a 4790k and an MSI 980, Both @ Stock.)

I have a 1920x1200 16:10 monitor and in 1.7.1 the screen don't stretch in full screen.In 1.7.0 it stretched in full screen.

still getting like 15-16 fps in wind waker on my i7 6700HQ GTX 970m with 16gb DDR4 ram (and yes I forced Cemu to use my gpu not cpu). Does not matter weather I use my monitor's native 3200x1800 or using 1920x1080......

Great release, I got around 10% to 20% FPS increase in XCX, however there is a problem with the shader cache, if I start the game without shader cache it will run at full speed but when I use the previously created shader cache there is a huge FPS decrease. So I need to constantly delete the shader cache after playing.

How long does it take for you to compile the shader cache? It takes me 4-6 minutes to compile a cache that is about 11500.

New version - and again no progress with DK Tropical Freeze((( Aganin banana glitch, beard of cranky kong, lags and LOW fps on 2-1 windmill level...nothing changed...why developer ignore that game? For money spend on pledges - i can buy original WiiU and game on e-bay...

hi guys, new member here. I get a lot graphics glitching/artefacting in some levels of Mario Kart 8. I'm using a AMD 390x (not relive drivers), just wondering if this is an AMD specific issue or Nvidia users have it also. Thanks! Great work btw!

In XcX, the UI is still bugged on the gamepad, when using graphic packs. Will this be fixed?

This is AMD-specific bug, (yep these do exist) it happens with certain jumping toadstools/yoshi's, tiki's, hammer bros, and piranha bulbs. It's also been around since April, in case you were interested.

When i start my client it says Patreon build-unverified/slow. What does that mean? XCX has been chugging at 8fps for 20 mins now, I was able to get up and running seamlessly when i first launched the game on 1.7.0. Edit: Just fixed it, I had my firewall up, didn't know it had online DRM-leaving this up for anyone else.

So, Project Zero is running again. But still it also has a really bad memory leak witch is making the whole computer to freeze. This is manageable when you hold your camera for the first time and looks around. Suddently the grapichs will get disorted and the cpu and the ram goes straight to 100% load. I'm uploading a video to YT where I test the game up untill it freezes. I had to do some re-encoding of the video because the original video file got damaged by the freeze. Therefore the video is slightly speed up and without audio.

Sigh Mario kart 8 is now running slower on stages that we're running faster on 1.7.0 and zelda wind waker still runs at half speed and I swear it's an AMD gpu issue

Yes, I have the fix and it will be released within a week I would think. It's 2 of us working on a HUGE graphics pack set that will tweak and fix 14 different things in XCX, including fixes (hacks) for AMD. Look for it on the Cemu subreddit soon! ;)

After the first time building it, it should take about 7-10 seconds, unless your CPU or GPU is being stressed to where you are not seeing ~64fps while it compiles. You can use Afterburner with RTSS set to 2D Viewport, or ReShade for a performance overlay. Also, make sure you have Vsync set to Off or Fast in NvCP, and On only in Cemu. If that doesn't work, try deleting your precompiled cache and let it rebuild. If that isn't enough, try a whole new Cemu install and move over just your saves and transferable cache, especially if you 'overwrite' your old installs with new versions.

For best performance make sure to set CPU -&gt; Timer to 'Host based timer' and Debug -&gt; GPU buffer cache accuracy to 'Low'. It should run at least as fast as 1.7.0, if not then try deleting settings.bin

The green screen is normal because Cemu doesn't support render videos, yet. But it's only the intro (just watch it on YouTube). After the intro you can play, only a few graphical glitches.

Just wanted to say thanks to the CEMU team (or is it one guy?), this update is amazing. I've tested WW and XCX and the framerates are very stable and playable. Great things coming soon for this emulator this will be the next dolphin!

I have a bug in this version :( In captain Toad , when i want to use Toad amiibo , the emulation loop (the song loop) and after nearly 10 secondes , it crash . It's strange , the crashlog file have nothing :( Before that Captain toad Amiibos work. It on the Book 2 of the game Stage : Up 'n' Down Terrace

Did you transfer the cache from 1.7.0 to 1.7.1? Or did you just delete the cache in 1.7.0 then use 1.7.1 and it worked fine?

Humm , just a question for Cemu Team, BOTW will need 3Go installation for the WiiU. This process isn't implemented on Cemu yet. My question is , do you think this will be implemented for this game? Because in my memory no other game need an install. Oh and hope we will see news soon :) Good work Cemu Team

We don't really know for sure since the game isn't out yet. But it will likely be as simple as merging the folders of the game disc data and the extra installation data. It's similar to how you can patch games already despite Cemu not having proper patch support.

i have a problem, if i play games on my 24" 1080p Monitor speed is fine, if i'm playing it on my 55" 4K TV it's very slow, i also tried running it as administrator but it didn't help, is there a fix for it? thanks in advance

When you run it on your 4K monitor, your computer also has to render the rest of the desktop at 4K...
