I love the revelation that Myu's parents aren't malicious. Like they made a bad choice and could have handled the situation better (e.g. working with Maia's dad to give Myu space), but they did care and were trying to do their best to make her happy. Idk, I just love it being a more nuanced situation than 'parents bad' or 'parents good, Myu just ungrateful'.
