After reviewing the animation so far. I feel the sensible approach is split it and release each scene as its own part. These parts will get released as they are completed.
The advantages are, focus can be placed on the individual parts along with time being used more economically, as instead of leaving the rendering to the end and having the PC out of action for a solid few weeks, renders can happen overnight on individual shots and work continues during the day.
As for a title, what do you think to "Staying In, Eating Out" ?
I've included some test renders where I was checking lighting, fur, and animation. These are 'Work in Progress' shots both are from part one. 'WIP_Fur_Test_(Part_1_Shot_1)' the opening shot was a quick test to see how the new fur looked, I think the animation is almost done on this one.
'WIP_Lighting_Test_(Part_1_Shot_4)' from near the end I was looking at two things with this, the lighting on the fur during the camera move and seeing how the 'lip smack' animation looked when fully rendered, you can clearly see the rest of the animation is not final as the foxes movement, eyes and yeen tail all need further work.
This coming week will be spent on Part 1 adding some more animation and refining what's there. (and as each shot is completed, queued up for rendering overnight)
Side activity for the week as chosen by the Executive Producers will be to continue working on the Wolf, More time is going to be used to refine the sculpt further as there are a lot of little details that need to be just right otherwise things break during rigging (corner of the mouth and eyelids are the main offenders) the general face shape might also get a few more hours spent on it as I keep going back and forth on if it's finished or not. I've included a WIP screenshot of where I'm currently at.
As always if you have an questions or comments feel free to let me know ^_^
