" Krigeren Utfordret Beistet Og Vant Alt Av Hva Hun Har ", unknown artist, approx. 1030 AD, colorized (soon!); courtesy of the Oslo Museum of the Arts.

The last known chapter in the saga of Tormund Falkenberg states that, when a great beast began terrorizing the Norwegian countryside, he took it upon himself to seek the beast's lair in the high mountains by the sea. What fate befell him in the snowy peaks is unknown, for Tormund never returned. Neither his remains nor the lair of the beast were ever found. It is known, however, that shortly after Tormund set off on his journey, the beast never attacked the people of the countryside again.
