Part 1 - https://youtu.be/fO2F7EinUlQ

Part 2 - https://youtu.be/4pv0v_LLX9k

In two parts because it's long [if I made it faster I felt it was hard to see what was even going on]

Because I think some parts are more interesting than others, I tried to use timestamps so anything too dull can be skipped, hope they are helpful!
[As I was adding them they showed in the video but... they don't anymore, the timestamps in the description itself still work though.]

I put music directly from Youtube's library after the fact, I might change some of it later for part 1 because the middle is a bit too calm and sleep inducing haha.

BUT YEAH I hope the process is entertaining to watch!

Note: If I was to make an actual model, the next step after the sculpt is done would be to do retopology [like in Part 2 at 10:41, but for the whole model]. I would properly combine the hair too, so the top of the head transitions smoothly into the spiky locks.

-Then UV unwrap [mark seams so the whole model is "flat" and it can be painted], and then I would texture paint with a proper resolution so it doesn't look all pixelated.

-I don't know much about shading yet, especially something so stylized, so I would research how to best shade such a character, I think there's Toon shaders that can be bought, like a really cool looking Genshin Impact style one for example.. I'd like to learn more about it, but I also want to learn to shade more traditionally, like using subsurface scattering to make the skin look warm and soft, and a slight bump map for pores and imperfections to make it not look completely smooth and plastic [but also not so realistic it becomes off-putting on a stylized model].

Bakura 3D "sketch" - Timelapse [ Part 1 ]

A pretty rough 3D sculpt of Bakura, made in Blender. While this took me a long time I call it sketch because it's very rough for a sculpt and the topology is super limited, and I didn't take the step to retopologize which would have helped make everything look cleaner. Also the colors are super low res and rough as well because it's just vertex colors instead of using UV maps. But that was the intention, something "quick" for August! [though it was finished in late September!] This was a Patreon reward, Bakura won the poll against Atem (YGO), Lime (Saber Marionette J), Adiane The Elegant (TTGL), Nia Teppelin (TTGL) and Kusuriuri (Mononoke). I wish I could just put a lot of YGO music in the background instead haha;; I hope these sections make it easy to find or skip parts!
