Jessica, once fully outfitted for action, drew her service blasters and prepared for Sidney’s retrieval. She expertly determined that, even though Sidney was now fully swallowed and deep within the digestive sack of this monstrous gastropod, there was an elegant solution to the problem. Instead of risking her rear end by forcefully inducing regurgitation, all she had to do was let gravity assist. She used her weapon to shoot a lethal bolt that blasted the mouth tube to pieces. Once it was nothing more than a gaping hole, a single stun bolt would be enough to relax the throat muscles of the predator to the point where Sidney would slide back down and out of the  uninhibited passageway.
