You're right that, above all, it is most important to stay healthy in these times! And about the violin/vocal recording: wouldn't it be possible for you to record with Troy in Melbourne again? That way you wouldn't have to wait so long and on the last albums he already did an amazing job :-)

I know this album is going to be absolutely amazing just based on the songwriting snippets I’ve heard so I’m willing to wait whatever time it takes for it to be released. Looking forward to those new demos! Will definitely be upgrading.

Thanks for the update, Tim. Good to hear that you could see some silver linings despite the disappointment and your overall perspective is certainly a balanced one. This pandemic has been a massive test of patience for many of us. And now, as we enter the year of the Ox, it's perhaps quite timely to reflect on the saying "The Ox is slow but the earth is patient." Hmmmm.....indeed! In saying all this, I wish this shit would be over with once and for all.

So I just went back and listened to all of the songwriting videos that were posted over a year ago. It was rather bittersweet - so exciting because of how incredible they sounded even as demos, but so sad because we could all be enjoying the complete album right now if the world hadn't taken a massive shit. That being said, I know it will get finished one day, and what a glorious day that will be :)
