Makima animations + January rewards (Patreon)

Hi! We're finally done with December. The "2021 Makima" set is available for December patrons. Check the last link in your direct messages.

What should I do if I became a patron after January 1 and I want December sets? (Komi and Makima)

Why were all deadlines missed?

In short:

Crunches, burnouts, attempts to dock the workflow with new the sound designer. And some unforeseen circumstances.

What lessons have I learned for myself?

First of all, I should not overload myself with extra work outside patreon and should rest more, otherwise I will spend even more time on the background of burnout.

Secondly. Tight deadlines will only make it worse when I'm already worn out. I'm feel disgusting when I can't keep my word.

Third. To establish the process of interaction with our sound designer. (we lost a lot of time just juggling files and trying to dock our schedules)

Obvious things? Yep? Looks like not for me. Lerning on my own mistakes.

What will be in the January rewards?

I am trying to restore the previous schedule, so January rewards will be sent around February 10.  My productivity dropped a lot in December-January, but I took measures to recuperate and we almost defeated the schedule shift. We're cool!

I'm planning another one set of "Chainsaw Man". More info on next week.

The 2nd girl for January sets has not yet been selected. So you can offer your ideas in my suggestion box. 

Also I will try to implement some of these ideas in near future:

• A new way to animate faces, for a variety of emotions
• Lip sync.
• A new way to animate liquids.
• Animated transitions between scenes.
• Multiple models for a scenes variety (different poses, angles, different artworks)
