Recently, our city has been quiet and no rockets are flying towards us. There were no particularly important events.

    If we talk about the battlefield, it has not changed. All battles are going on in the east in the city of Bakhmut and nearby. The Russians have almost surrounded this city, but our soldiers continue to fight for it. I think this is a tactic to contain the forces of the enemy. The Russians threw all their forces into this direction, so that later they could boast of taking this city, but instead they received huge losses in soldiers and equipment. What I have seen in military reports is terrible. The fields are littered with corpses. I never thought it could be like this these days. The war is mainly artillery. Many teams with drones are constantly monitoring the area and making adjustments to the artillery. During the reports, explosions are constantly heard ... the battle does not stop for a minute.

Everyone is waiting for the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian army. However, now it will rain in the spring and heavy equipment will get stuck in the swamp, so I think that the offensive will be in a month or two. Moreover, now part of our army is being trained on new equipment, which was supplied by all our partners.

So we watch and wait.

Also, the media is now actively discussing an American reconnaissance drone shot down by a Russian plane. Various versions have been put forward as to why the Russians did this. Experts are trying to build a logical chain and see the idea. This is probably a complex multi-stage combination. I know the answer. They did it just like that. Because they can. Because the drone won't answer them. They're like gangsters in an alleyway, thinking only about the present moment. And those problems that will arise later, they are not able to assess.

On the main square of the country, they said goodbye to the youngest hero of Ukraine (this is the highest military award) Dmitry Kotsyubaylo with the call sign "Da Vinci". He has been defending Ukraine since 2014 and died near Bakhmut. I am sure that a film will be made about him later and everyone will know his story. The president and the entire military leadership of the country came to the funeral of a young guy.
