I agree that Bahiyyih's skill isn't there yet. And now we're waiting for her to show her improvement. The reason why she got a lot of votes is because of the haters. The haters even made 'Hate Page/account' just for her. Those amount of hates made people wondered why she got a lot of hates. They decided to watch her performances and they knew she was good, they also knew she wasn't the worst. Because of the hates she got, people just wanted to protect her. I've seen a lot of people voted her because of this. The haters got what they did. In the end, negativity can't beat humanity. Another reason is... she has solid & loyal fans (unlike others' fans who always change their pick every single time).

I've had over a week to process the results and I can accept it now. I also wish it was a 12 member group because then I could have had hope for Yurina, Yaning and Su Ruiqi being added (although my heart wanted Bora and Wen Zhe as well lol). Once they switched to 1 pick voting, I knew Bahiyyih was going to be up there. But, yeah... Bahiyyih is a child and she doesn't deserve any of the hate she's getting. I may not agree with her ranking but like you said, it's a popularity contest at the end of the day. I believe she will improve and show everyone what she's capable of in the near future and will shut us all up lol. I can't wait for their first group reality show and to see what kind of sound they'll have as a group, what positions each member will hold and what the group dynamic will be like. It'll be interesting to see.

i totally agree with your opinion bacardi. the group is pretty solid, kinda wish xiaoting wasnt the only chinese member and maybe another vocalist was in the lineup like shana. bahiyyih being in the final lineup wasnt a total suprise for me since i knew how popular she was but i do wish someone else made it instead. anyways, there is a new survival show that is airing this november, its called "my teenage girl." there is already a performance of the contestants https://youtu.be/OxZwZN4Edpk its definitely something im looking forward to now that gp999 is over :)

That makes sense, if you see someone getting bullied and hated for no reason it makes sense to naturally come to their defense so I get why people would vote for her if that's one case. She was getting so much hate that people were probably like "man this is bullshit leave this girl alone" and they want to support her and protect her from the negativity, I get it.

It's been on my mind today and after reading so many forums and watching videos of peoples reactions it's like I said, this much hate for her is absolute bullshit, but I predicted this would happen. One on hand I don't like the people that pushed her so hard before she was really ready to debut and on the other, I'm happy that she's getting to live her dream and will get the chance to show us what she's made of But looking at THE AMOUNT of hate she's getting is actually insane, like are these people trying to have her go to a psychiatrist everyday or something? Or worse death threats!?!?! REALLY??? For what? a kid who won a show? That's what your spending your time doing? Why don't you go spend that time sending death threats tooo idk? rapists, serial killers, you know people that actually committed crimes? Seriously some of these people need to stay off the internet I think overall most people are happy with the final line up but Bahiyyih seems to be big issue (especially her rank, if she was 9 it probably wouldn't be this bad) honestly I hope after a while all this dies down, poor kid is probably going through it right now. Like I said let's all give her time to show us what she can do, one day she might prove us all wrong. Also I miss the fuck outta Yurina, Bora, Su Ruiqi, and Shana T_T T_T T_T
