A Milestone (Patreon)

I got a fifth patron at the "Flash" tier this morning which means, for now, the tier is closed. Once I am confident that I will not be overwhelmed by all the work I already do and/or I clear out the Tumblr Requests, I will open it up to more people.

We have solidly hit the $100 goal, as I am not counting the spike I had early on with two two huge commissions that were one time things. This means every three months, the Omnibus of stories will also contain fiction exclusive to here. I aim for that to be original fiction and not requests or commissioned work (since all of this started as looking for warm ups to get back into writing my own fiction again).

I had forgotten the $200 goal was the monthly CYOA for $3+ patrons. Part of that was to drive engagement with my blog and my campaign by having a stream of steady fiction updates. At this point, the paragraph stories are a much better use of my time in that regard and I feel like they are ultimately more satisfying to you all (chime in if you feel otherwise). For that reason the new $200 goal is having sketch cover art for the Quarterly Omnibus. Apologies if this upsets anyone, but do not worry, there will be other CYOAs.

Finally, I want to say thank you to everyone here supporting me.  The last eight months have been a roller coaster and writing has been as much a source of strife as it has been solace, but I have (mostly) figured out how to balance life and writing and I am enjoying what I am doing. June is only a few months away, by then I will have been doing this a year--which is kind of exciting.

Anyway, more fiction soon! I need to get the paragraph prompts posted here at some point...
