A question in light of pledge changes...

  • Yes - Please make new Sub-Pledge Levels - such as a $4.50 Level - with Rewards equal to the original Levels. I need that for my budget. 1
  • No - The extra fees are not an issue for me and I would gladly give a little more, especially if it means it goes towards more art. 12

Friend of the show, Dan Standing made a post that I wanted to echo here:

[W]ith the announcement of the new pledge system, there's a lot of talk about what it means. Some Creators wish we had the option to opt into absorbing those fees so Patrons would not have to pay more, and I realized - can't I, in a way? I mean, what if I created a $4.50 Level Tier?

Sadly, I CANNOT create a tier less than $1 - so I can't adjust for that. But maybe I could create other sub-tiers to help people stick around?

So...here's a poll...should I do the math and do Sub-Pledge Levels that have the same rewards but try and account for the new fee changes? I want to help as many of my Patrons as I can while still maintaining what is needed to provide new material to everyone. So let me know.

Just to voice - if it means you get more foldin' money in your pocket at the end of the day, I'm happy with the increased fees. It looks like those most impacted will be those with many small pledges processing each month (e.g. lots of $1 pledges to different artists or per-creation pledges).
