Cast of "The Board Game" (Patreon)

After a couple polls that were probably poorly executed, we have the four characters who will be joining our protagonist, Paula as they sit down to play a yet unnamed game with transformative effects...

Paula (MC. Midwest White, Straight, Female, 19) - Moved from Kansas to NYC on the back of a full ride scholarship for computer science. She is enjoying life one day at at time right now as she looks for her place in the world. Bright, Cheery, and Impulsive, many call her Pixie behind her back, but she has claimed that identity as her own. Loves Kung Fu movies and wishes she was a little more athletic.

Ward (Italian-American, Straight, Male, 22)  - Despite his blue collar upbringing, or perhaps because of it, Ward Felicciani is always aiming for the sky. When he was exposed to programming in vocational school, he had an idea which he shared with his buddies. The goal was a way for working parents, particularly those who were single, to find trusted child care or to coordinate schedules with other families. The app was surprisingly successful across the boroughs.  As Five B ltd., the team continues to work on new features and to stand up offices in other cities. Paula and Niana are interns at the Manhattan office.

May (Korean-American, Unsure, Female, 18) - As "Mayday", May Yung Li was a fairly successful Jungler and was well known as a free agent. Never with any one team for long, her play style was mercurial and ever changing to match the needs of her current teammates.  Would draw while streaming and waiting in queue and that eventually turned into a portfolio which got her admitted to art school. While she has stepped down as a pro player for now, she still streams and draws.

Aletta (Irish-American, Bi, Female, 20) - Growing up with her paternal grandparents in Upper Manhattan, she always imagined she was the daughter of two spies. Her mother's funeral in Middle School confirmed that her imagination was far more real than she expected. Loves reading anything with Black Widow or Domino as well as other Spec Ops type ladies while sitting on roof tops or in trees. 

On top of being chief line cook at her grandparent's diner,  she also does Ninja Warrior-style training in a warehouse near by and has coincidentally developed a huge, muscular ass and equally thick thighs to give her the power to make up for her short reach. Goes to school part time right now as she tries to convince her father to let her join the agency.

Niana (Cameroonian-American, Lesbian, Female, 18) - Always a curious self-starter, Niana taught herself many things in her life. How to write scripts. How the internet works. How to find openings in firewalls. Everything she needed to know to hack into NY State's adoption records to find out what happened to her birth parents. Not because she was unhappy with her moms or her very involved extended family, but because she had always wanted to know. Already holds Network+ and Security+ certifications and is currently trying to build her own 3D printer to fabricate drone parts.
