Here are some screenshots of our current test runs of Deathblight RPG.
We're currently thinking about a name we could give the game.
Maybe Deathblight - City of Corruption?
Please note that the enemies are currently just coloured sketches.
We will give them proper artworks for the second release.
But this should do for the first release.
Screenshot 1 and 2 are of the combat system, where you can see how the graphics work ingame.
The stronger looking enemy is not a boss, but more like a tougher version of the grunts.
Screenshot 3 is just a screen of the city center with the hotel and fountain, as well as some enemies for testing purposes.
There will be no enemies at this spot in the final game, as this is a "safe zone" in the city.
So they will be removed later on after testing is done.
Currently all the core mechanics and combat graphics are in place.
What's left to do until we can release the game:
- Game Over CG scene needs to be drawn
- implementing the CG scenes into the game
- including some story for the first release
And of course, we need to constantly test it in order to avoid any bugs.
So, as you can see, we're quite close to a first release, finally.
