General Progress Report (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

We've been updating folks on our monthly chats with Wolfenstahl (me) regulary, but in case someone missed one of those, here's a little summary for our plans in December 2021 going forwards.

Upcoming Ylva and Natasha webcomic:

Preparations have been ongoing and there's been a few slowdowns but overall we're progressing smoothly.

There's one "special artwork" for Hildr dropping later today, and with that all five main characters will be taken care off.

We hope you enjoyed the ones for Natasha, Chelsea, Ylva and Fjellrik so far!

As for the final preparations, on the art side, there's some things missing like facial expressions, personal equipment and other "details" on the characters that we want to sketch and document before we start the actual webcomic.

Most of these will not be made public though as we plan to document "spoilers" and secret information on each of the characters as well.

(We may release these after things have been revealed in the webcomic though, but in some of the cases that's several chapters away, which means this can be 2 years down the line from here)

On the writing/planning side, there's still more details on the plot and pacing as well as panelling that needs to be finished before the pages can be drawn.

Overall we expect to start the webcomic during the second week of January 2022.

Which probably is for the better, as an interruption due to christmas holidays would be awkward after releasing the start of the webcomic.

Loki game:

I feel that I really need to clarify this as we're still getting questions on this topic regularly.

Note that this campaign is NOT funding the game project or any other game project.

Patrons and Subscribestars that pledged during the brief time period where we paused the webcomic work (September to October 2021) will get the game for free though.

Any new pledges are not eligible for this (unless you get it as a "bonus" depending on the tier you pledged to "on release day", see our supporter tiers for more details on that), the detailed explanation on this is found in our older posts.

As explained in older posts, we're focusing on webcomics.

We only do games "on the side".

So it will be done when it's done.

After my preparations of Ylva/Natasha webcomic are done (early January 2022), I will go back to working on the game "at my own pace", which will take time as aside of the art, I'm basically since 2020 a one-man army once again, like back in the old days (2012). 

Graphics are mostly done, it's just that I (Wolfenstahl) need to take care of literally everything else (writing, programming, assembling the entire thing etc), and I only do this on the side, so it will take some time and I can't name a release date.

Hence it will be done when it's done.

I figured I'd "mention" all of this as it seems a lot of people do not read our posts or read what is going on.

There will be most likely no further "news" on this project (as it's not Patreon/Subscribestar funded, technically) until it drops suddenly out of nowhere.

Because of this we advise that anyone who is interested in our games "only", please wait on them and buy them on Steam/DLSite etc. once they are fully released, so you get best value for your money.

Please understand that this campaign isn't meant to fund games as we can't guarantee constant progress with just the two of us (Cres and Wolf), as well as us trying to avoid a repeat of the past where the crowdfunding website (Patreon in this case) asked us to drop a project.
