Contests - update (Patreon)

With all your help we managed to visualize the idea. 

What is Contests going to be?
The Contest feature challenges the players to compete by scoring points earned by doing certain game actions like winning a battle or levelling up a girl. Players are organized in brackets based on their current progression in the game to make the whole feature fair.
Contest are limited in time and players can only score points while the Contest is active.
Each action the player perform that matches one of the Contest’s required actions will automatically award him points and make him climb the Contest’s leaderboard in real time.
Required actions for a Contest can be for example to:
Give XP to a girl, and for each XP point the player scores 1 point
Spend energy in quests, and for each energy point spent he gets 5 points
Defeat an opponent in the arena. Enemies between 10 and 20 will give 5 points, enemies between 20 and 30 will give 10 points, etc.
Obtain a girl, and for each girl he gets 150 points
Those are just examples and don’t belong to one single Contest.

The Contest Menu
The window will be opened from the game’s homepage.
It first shows a list of the currently active contests (i.e. the ones which have started and not ended yet). The player can click on one of them to see the details.
The detail screen will show all the relative information to the Contest (title, name, list of required actions, …), the current player score and his progression on the thresholds as well as threshold rewards to be claimed, his current position in the bracket and global leaderboard and the list of rewards available for each leaderboard.
The detail screen shouldn’t show the leaderboards but just what the rewards are for the top 3 of each leaderboard. We need to have tabs for each leaderboad the same way as for the tower of fame with the global and regional tabs.

Starting and Ending dates and time
Each Contest is considered active between the starting and ending date. These times have to be global obviously (worldwide).
Thus, multiple Contest can be active at the same time.
If any action that would potentially reward the player with points finishes after the Contest’s ending date, no score points will be awarded, even if the action started before the ending date.

So far we have managed to draw and write about 5 or 6 contests, we need more time and energy for doing more… But hopefully soon enough we will manage to finish the amazing feature.
