May 2021 Pin-ups: Sonya Swimsuit (Patreon)

It looks like the bikini Sonya got for Mother's Day is a bit too tight.  Perhaps Cassie got the wrong size... perhaps it was the year-long quarantine.

I struggle with sculpting chubby characters, so a mature version of Sonya was a good opportunity to practice.  I'm more unfamiliar with the physiology of this body-type than with a fit or slim body.  It's harder to determine where the proper planes are; especially when fat distribution can be much different depending on the person.

Now animating chubby characters... that's a whole different ball game.  I think I could do a decent job of it these days though, now that I have a few more tricks up my sleeve.
