Here's the OC animation I was talking about. It's either going to be three different animations with the same angles and different lighting, or it's going to just be the above pose animated for a longer period of time. I haven't decided if I want to cut the other loops I've done just yet.
I also took some time to re-do the environment because it was pretty boring before and I wanted to stress test a closed set system.
You see most people when they make an animation in Blender are going to forego a few walls and maybe the floor or ceiling and only design whatever will appear in the shot, sometimes they're even just rely on an HDRI. This is because not only is it time-consuming to build the rest of the set, it also tanks render times a lot and adds a bunch of noise. The more surfaces you have bouncing light, the more expensive it's going to get. This applies all the way up to a closed room, even when it's just 6 planes with no textures it takes quite a bit of power.
Since in the future I'm going to have more projects with complete sets, since there will be more camera angles, I decided I need to figure this out sooner rather than later. In Generous Donation we ran into this problem, since we had complete sets in that animation too. I've cut down on quite a bit of noise and a little bit of render time, but I think there's still more optimization to be done.
