Woah, different engine!

So this was that side project I did this month that I talked about.  Basically I did the core animation in SFM just like any other project, which was then ported over to another engine with some changes.  As I explain in the blog post, it showed me how my animations might look in another engine, taught me a little bit about animation porting, and gave me some experience collaboration with another person.

It was a pretty fun experience, and it didn't really take too much time either.  I just set aside some extra time to work on it on top of my regular animations.  I'm interested to see what the future holds in terms of collaborations.

Again, I'll have a monthly update up soon enough that will go over the schedule for the month.  It's pretty much business as usual, more SFM animations, polls, and a commission.

Here's a link to the blog post.

interesting experiment. It looks different in a way I can't quite figure out. Maybe the lighting or skin textures? Nice collab and would be cool if you guys did a full scene animation together someday. Having a partner once in awhile might mean a quicker turn around time for animations in the future (I hope 😀)

It's a different engine with different model so the answer is... everything is different :)
