Annnnd we're back! My break's been a pretty chill one, all in all! Got a lot of traveling done, had a great time at MFF, screwed around in VRC, meowed a whole damn ton... it's weird to have so much down time for myself after working on Perfect Home so long and so consistently. Falling back into the routine of development's been nice-- and with how major these next few updates are slated to be, I'll have PLENTY to sink my teeth into. Maybe too much!

Originally, I was prepared to release a TF-focused bad end alongside this update, but due to time constraints and my stubbornness-- I mean determination-- to make Perfect Home's bad ends as memorable and in-depth as possible, I've decided I'd include it in either 1.1.2 or, at the absolute latest, 1.1.3. That doesn't change the fact that this is one of the largest updates I've released yet, though, rivaling Julian's content in terms of scenes and just things to do in general. A new mansion to explore, a slow transformation from feline to fox, new items and a new place to buy them, and a whole host of cute, soft vulpines to slowly subjugate to your will...

I've been excited to release what I have planned surrounding the kitsune manor for YEARS now, and there's still a lot more on the docket! Like I said-- too much. I'm not even going to try to aim for my usual day-before-the-end-of-the-month deadline this time, given this next update, 1.1.2, will introduce even more scenes, a new hunt/brainwashing encounter, a new servant, and some this-and-that I've been keeping a relative secret! You can expect it to release on the 10th of April, a date I may push back, or reel closer, depending on how quickly I can get everything polished up to my standard of quality.

That's about it for now! Let me know what y'all think about this update, what suggestions you might have for the fox manor, and what bugs you'll possibly stumble upon in the discord, and thank you as always for your kind and generous support!

(PS! I might start showing off fan art of Perfect Home at the bottom of these dev logs in the future? Y'all make some EXTREMELY adorable stuff. 🧡)

PATCH NOTES:

• After defeating all four heroes and exploring the forest, you will stumble across a mysterious kitsune with a penchant for transforming adventurers into foxes...

• Afterwards, you'll be invited to a new area: the Kitsune Manor! Contains 4 scenes, with scenes that change depending on how much the manor has turned you into a fox, how you interact with foxes, etc etc.

• Added in a shop-keep, Rieki! You can take requests from the kitsune in exchange for gold and items, though requests will refresh if you take too long to fulfil them.

• You can purchase a Fluffy Tail Potion from Rieki, which will give you a fox-like tail for 7 days.

• Added in a new item: Pipe Foxes! Kitsune in a handy tube! Set them loose in town, on your own servants, keep them as pets... or don't let them out, and just use them like toys.

• Fixed some bugs where a couple of older encounters would always (or almost always) result in failure, regardless of your stats (robbery in town & the imp encounter in the ruins).

• Added in a new sound effect for when you gain gold.

• When talking to foxes in the manor, they'll sometimes let you pay them to step on your face if your submission is high enough... don't huff their sandals too much, or you might end up never wanting to leave.

• Repeatedly failing encounters in the fox manor will result in Citrine slowly transforming into a fox. Effects can be cleared with Bottled Clarity. How foxes interact with you, and your scenes with them, will change as your transformation progresses...

• There isn't a bad end connected to this yet, but there will be with the release of 1.1.2 (or 1.1.3, depending). Any progress you make towards your transformation will carry over into the next version of the game.

Hoping to see the bat soon haven't got to play yet but my fingers are crossed. Been waiting on that bad end for a long while.
