Perfect Home [v.1.10.1]: Patreon Edition (Patreon)

Happy pride month! The fact that this update focuses so heavily on demons and sinning and gender transformation, on the first of June, is entirely a coincidence. But... hey! We'll own it!

I'm REALLY happy I've been able to maintain the trend I set out with at the beginning of the year, in regards to releasing so many big updates with such consistency. THIS one introduces a new (if late) feature to celebrate Mayternity, a bunch of new scenes related to imps and demon summoning, the ability to choose/change Locke's gender, a new use for an old item, and a new scene with the hound!

There's actually a LOT more I want to add with this one, which is why I'm tentatively breaking it up into two parts: 1.10.1, and 1.10.2! I probably won't even be able to do everything I want with demon summoning even after that... I have a LOT of plans for more demons you can summon, different rituals you can perform, consequences and bad ends related to your Corruption value... but once I lay down all the groundwork, it should be easy enough to expand upon, kind of like with dungeon expeditions!

Speaking of! My plans for the next update do involve a new dungeon expedition as the main new thing! I've always wanted to both add in more dungeons and expand on the variety of scenes you can encounter while exploring them, and since one of the next planned dungeons was imp-related anyway, I figured it'd be a good opportunity to give y'all something to play with before I start working on new rivals, in addition to all the new art I'm going to be dropping in!

As unrelated notes, adding in a new use for the Banned Books started making me consider adding in retroactive uses for ALL of your items-- you could use the rope for bondage, as one example, or maybe you can use lockpicks if you end up in chastity or something. I won't be able to do much with that any time soon, due to how many other aspects of the game I'll be working on these next several months, but it's definitely on my mind...

In any case, I'll be pretty busy after 1.10.2 focusing on one of two rivals! As I stated in a previous bundle of patch notes, because I've added in so many more mechanics and options into the game, adding in a new character has become a HUGE undertaking-- meaning that after the next update, I'm probably going to take a sort of gap month to ensure their release is everything it's meant to be and more. I'll be putting up a poll by which to vote for the next rival some time in the next few days, and announce as much here on the patreon...

... but for now, let me know how y'all enjoy this update! It took more work than I expected it to and I'm tentatively expectant of a few bugs/oversights, but the nice thing about being so on top of everything these days is that I've been able to devote a lot more time playtesting.

PATCH NOTES:

• Added demon summoning in the ritual room. At the moment, you can only summon an Imp Cluster after learning how to do so from Banned Books.

• When tamed, the Imp Cluster can be added to your party for a week, raising both Power and Speed by 1. Imps are unaffected by Obedience or Comfort and give 5 gold daily, though they will sometimes increase a new stat: Corruption.

• Corruption caps at 8. It has no bad end, but is planned to affect the personalities of your servants and the outcomes of scenes later. It can be lowered with Bottled Clarity.

• You can now read Banned Books. At the moment, you can only read three books: The Demonomicon (which unlocks new demons to summon), Golemancy For Dummies, and The Witch's Bible (which can be used to increase Worship by 2).

• You can now purchase Banned Books from Rieki in the Kitsune Mansion.

• Locke's gender can be chosen when first encountering them. Reading Golemancy For Dummies makes it so Gender TF potions affect them.

• You can now make use of your Wolf servant, introducing two new scenes.

• As an optional feature, after finishing inside one of your female servants, they will become pregnant! This affects their scenes and slightly improves their productivity in the milking shed for a short time. This can be disabled from your desk.
