With how much attention I've given Felicity as a character all throughout the game, I was a bit unsure of how huge of an undertaking it would be to give the player a say in their gender. As it turns out, it wasn't that big of a deal at all! Just goes to show how much more on top of everything I've been since the start of the new year I guess, because I was able to adjust the pronouns in basically all their scenes within a week, and I STILL had a ton of free time on my hands to polish out some other new mechanics/features.

I will still refer to Felicity's gender as male while discussing him/his content, since that's my personal preference, but going forward, you'll be able to choose whether he's male or female! I've also gone ahead and adjusted some more scenes to change depending on the preferences you set. The next character to receive this treatment will be Julian with all the content that entails (and perhaps also Locke), but since that character's essentially optional anyway, the game is really close to a state where anyone of any gender preference can play comfortably, without bumping into stuff they're not interested in!

Other than that, I've finally added in the ability to Make Use of your servants outside of needing a specific encounter or specific scene. After capturing a hero, you simply need to interact with your bed, select "bed a servant", find them, and drag them off! You can do this multiple times a day currently. I've always felt disgruntled with how few interactions you could have with heroes after training them. I'd like to add more ways to mess around with 'em in the future, and even the ability to unlock NEW scenes-- perhaps through the dating mechanic? I'm not sure!

Additionally, I'll be doing most of the art for the game going forward-- I still intend to commission other artists occasionally, but I've had so much fun doing pixel art for the project that I don't think I'd like to stop! I've replaced a lot of art already in the game and added in a few new pieces for scenes that previously went without illustration.

That's about it for now. This update feels a tiny bit smaller compared to the others, but only because there's not as much variety in the number of things I've added. This is probably the largest number of fully fleshed-out encounters I've released in a really long time! I'm excited to see how everyone enjoys exploring them and seeing the little deviations you can take to alter their endings...

I'm looking forward to the next couple of updates-- particularly because, soon, after I've finished adding in just a handful of more mechanics/features, I'll be moving onto developing the next major rival/areas, who you'll be able to vote for in about a day or two! Not just in being patrons, but also for spreading the game where you can and just generally doing your part to put the game in as many paws as possible. I'll see you all next time!

PATCH NOTES:

• You can now choose to make Felicity into a girl, which introduces a number of female variations of his scenes! There may have been some oversights, but the majority of her content has been adjusted to suit the new content.

• You can now drag certain servants to your bedroom! To do this, interact with your bed, then go and speak to one of the servants in the mansion.

• You can take Felicity to bed, introducing three new scenes.

• You can take your bunny to bed, introducing a new scene.

• You can take your deer to bed, introducing two new scenes.

• You can have Julian show you how good he is with his hands, introducing a new scene.

• You can drag Kano to bed and use their tails, introducing a new scene.

• Replaced and added a large amount of art in the game.

• The Forest God scene earned through worship content now has a female variant.

• The border collie pickpocket scene in town is now affected by gender preference. Also changed how much gold you get from them on a failure from 35 to 30.

• Changed it so that the ritual room only requires 3 Worship to build instead of 4. You can also gain worship from heroes in the woods after taming the Forest God instead of after the ritual room is built, meaning that reaching this batch of content should be slightly less grindy.

• Fixed several bugs, including an exploit for getting infinite witch bottles, pronoun errors, and a problem that prevented you from gaining accessing to the attic dungeon.
