Land Retreats Registration Now Open! (Patreon)

The Writing Excuses Team is thrilled to announce its 2024 event schedule.

We will host three events in 2024, two at land and one at sea.

Registration for both land events is now open, as well as applications for our scholarship program. (Cruise registration will open in January)

June 9 - 15, 2024: Unlock Your Creative Process in Minnesota - Take time to rest, recharge, and build up your writing momentum at a serene retreat center.

August 2 - 7, 2024: Research, Writing, and Swordplay in Scotland - Just ahead of WorldCon, improve your writing skills while swinging swords, enjoying excellent food, and learning traditional Scottish dances.

Each of our three retreats will have at least one scholarship associated with it. For an overview of the scholarship program and application information, head to the scholarship page. Scholarship applications will be open until January 31st, 2024.
