It’s time to mark your calendars for the 2024 Writing Excuses Workshops & Retreats. This upcoming year Writing Excuses will host three events—two on land and one at sea: 

June 9 - 15, 2024: Unlock Your Creative Process in Minnesota - Take time to rest, recharge, and build up your writing momentum at a serene retreat center. 

August 2 - 7, 2024: Research, Writing, and Swordplay in Scotland - Just ahead of WorldCon, improve your writing skills while swinging swords, enjoying excellent food, and learning traditional Scottish dances. 

September 19 - 27, 2024 Writing Excuses Cruise along the Mexican Riviera - Join the crew for their annual cruise aboard the Navigator of the Seas, departing from Los Angeles, California.

We also have a shiny new website page which will be updated with registration links once ticket sales start!

We are currently planning to open registration for the land events next week and the cruise in early January. Stay tuned for more updates!
