You may have noticed in the last video I couldn't pronounce your names (I was really to the wire this month!) and also had to say names for a full minute haha. I have decided to try and come up with some different (better) perks for you guys donating 10 dollars or more starting now, its going to get a bit difficult to say all of you! 

The first thing I'm gonna do is do a prize draw for some of the props from each video, so this month I will send one of you that is donating 10 dollars or more a prop from the video, I can even sign them if you like, I'll select one of you at random and I'll announce it and get in touch!

I'm sorry to have to change a perk like this but I never imagined I'd ever get so many of you donating, it's totally crazy. I'll think of one more thing to do for you as well as the prize draw too. Feel free to suggest some other ideas for 10 dollar perks below, I'd love to know what you think. Thanks so much! Matt

Good idea! Personally, I don't think you should spend more than 10 seconds of a video on stuff that does not have anything to do with the content of the video (thanking supporters, asking viewers to like/share/subscribe, dubsteb outro music etc).

exaactly, it's harder to make the ending a bit more interesting now as it's dedicated to saying names, it was cool when there was 2 or 3 people but it's a bit nuts now haha

I'm ultimately contributing to you because the content you make is of an exceptional caliber. Whether or not you can pronounce "Drury" (psst, by the way it is "Drew-Ree") is of no consequence. The prop idea, too, is awesome - but I know how crazy shipping is for international mail. (I own a cookie business - getting cookies to the UK in 3 days is ... OOF, EXPENSIVE) You're a content creator that stands out, and I'm happy to help you continue making that dream a reality my dude.

I think that spending a longer amount of time reading out names is technically fine as long as you don't hamfist it into the middle of the video. Just like with movie credits, most people will turn off the video as soon as you start reading them (rude, but I'm just being realistic here). If you force them into the middle it is a huge turnoff. I feel similarly about "Please like and subscribe" requests. I have no issue at all with a Youtuber self-promoting, just do it at the beginning of the video before you start or at the end after you're done. Never ever interrupt your content over it.

You could move the "saying names out loud" into a $25 tier between your $10 & $50 tiers and add something to the $10 tier that makes up for it. Or move the written name in the credits up to $10 and add something to the $5 tier. As everyone else said before, we're here for the content and you're not losing us over a change like that ;) you've gotta keep your art how you want it and saying names for several minutes was never your intention.
